Before you travel outside of the state or country and you plan to use your AFCU ATM card, please contact the credit union prior to your trip. Our fraud prevention services monitor our ATM card activity 24/7.

If they notice or suspect there is unusual or suspicious transaction activity on your card, our fraud prevention services will shut down the ability to use your card until they are able to reach you by phone.  If they are unable to reach you and verify that those transactions are indeed yours-your card will be blocked until they are informed of non-fraudulent activity.

If you are planning to be traveling, contact our office with your travel plans & we can inform the fraud prevention service with no interruptions to you while you are traveling.
