ABOUT US

Acushnet Federal Credit Union has as its mission the responsibility for providing an efficient, effective, and well-managed financial institution that meets the needs of its membership.  In order to accomplish this mission, the AFCU will continue a sound yet progressive asset management strategy and provide new and improved financial services to current and future members through membership input and management initiatives.

HISTORY AND STRUCTURE

AFCU is a voluntary, nonprofit, cooperative association of individuals sharing a community bond as defined by our field of membership. Each member is an owner of the Credit Union and is entitled to a single vote regarding the business of the Credit Union.

The credit union was established in June 1960 as St. Francis Xavier Acushnet Federal Credit Union. As of September 14th 1967, St. Francis Xavier Acushnet Federal Credit Union was officially known as Acushnet Federal Credit Union

ATTN BILLPAY MEMBERS

Our BillPay services will be under maintenance on February 4, 2020. On this day there may be intermittent times of down time as maintenance is performed.

Effective February 4, 2020 our BillPay login procedure will change! You will NO longer be required to have a separate user ID or password for BillPay. What does that mean to BillPay members? Once you log into your AFCU Online Banking account & click on BillPay-you will be automatically sent into your BillPay account.  Your BillPay account will remain the same-the only change will be that you will NO longer be required to sign into this account separately.

These changes will take place on February 4, 2020 & as stated above there may be intermittent times of down time as these maintenance changes take place.
